Default What do I have?

I found this at a flee market. Door stop or treasure? Well I thought I could attach a picture. Will have to work on it.

Not sure what you have but it does look like you might have some trouble winding a bobbin.

Finally found it. I knew I'd seen that before. It's a Household:

It is a Household, I found it on the suttle cover with the last Pat date of 1880. Made in Prov.,RI. It has the shuttle in it and does move but stiff needs to be cleaned. I does not show in the picture but there is a knob on the wheel for hand turning. It is in good shape for the shap it is in. I just gave $20.00 for it so if it ends up a door stop I am not hurt. Have you seen the price they want for door stops. If anyones knows any more about it let me know. The bobbin wheel slides over and is driven by the wheel. There does not seem to be anything broken off the bobbin winder but I was wandwering about thread alignment. Thanks

It seems that it could be converted to a treadle with not too much trouble. I've not worked on one of these; it seems I have read somewhere that the tension can be a little tricky.
