Can someone tell me what is a singer BA3-8? Thanks for any help.

BA3-8 is a Singer motor. Sometimes people see the number on the motor, and think it's the model for the whole machine.

"BA3-8" is a catalog number for a Singer motor and could be on many different Singers and possibly other brands of sewing machines.

The older machines did not have model numbers on them. You will see many machines advertised with those motor numbers on them.

Best I've been able to determine, you have to post a photo here or somewhere else and ask what it is until you learn what each different one looks like.

I there is a plate with the serial number on it, provide it and we may be able to tell you the model number. Also a picture would help.
