Got my singer Spartan 192K in the mail today I was so excited, opened the box and the bobbin wheel was broke in half. The sweet lady on eBay was very nice I sent pics and also of damaged box. So I was refunded, and it sews so good until the bobbin ran out. Can you even get that part? Does anyone know? Well had to vent thanks for listening. Monie

Could a Side Winder work for you?

Sorry about the bobbin winder. That same thing happened with the first Featherweight that I purchased on eBay. The seller sent me another one. I'm pretty sure your's can also be replaced. You just unscrew the old one and screw the new one on. Do you have pictures of your 'new' machine?

A repair shop should be able to fix this, they have tools to pull the broken screw out , or get a side winder at Joann's use a discount coupon.

Yes, it is the same so if you have access to a 99 winder, it will work fine.
