Default Some of my machines are getting a Time Out today

These were all stored under the quilt frame, and had to be moved out of the way while I assemble the new one!

It's a bit windy, but otherwise a nice day for sitting on the front porch.

You said in another thread that you lived way out where nobody else want's too. Well, it looks inviting to me, I've always like front porches like that. And I wouldn't mind keeping your machines company for a while ... .

Your porch looks like it needs company. Love porches.

I thought they might be in time out for being bad. Obviously not! It looks like a lovely day for some fresh air and those old cases might just enjoy a spot of sun too.

I would love to live somewhere out of the way. Somewhere where I didn't have to either see or hear my neighbors. 5 acres of brush and trees with the house in the middle would be about right.
Love the porch. I've never lived in a house with a truly nice porch. They've all been houses built at times when a porch wasn't considered a necessity, just a couple steps up to the door and enough room to stand while you open it. A back deck or patio is nice but not the same.
Nice of you to bring your machines out so they could relax on the porch.

Love that chicken on the porch, too!

Stacked sewing machines, a wrap-around porch, and a chicken. Best Saturday ever.

We have a picket fence that goes from the corner of the deck, so the chickens hop up and over to get from the front yard to the back (instead of going around the back of the house).

And just so you don't all get the wrong idea about how nice it is here - this is what it looks like several months of the year.

Add the cold plus wind and you get -40F windchill and visibility almost zero at times.

This was taken in mid March. It's a bright sunny day, not a cloud in the sky. It's just the wind kicking up from a recent snowfall that hadn't crusted over yet. You should see what it's like when it's actually snowing! All kidding aside, it's scary and dangerous to be out driving if this kicks up.
