Default super price on a singer treadle, Eugene or c/l

I jut got off the phone with this guy.. ismacs by serial number show this as a model 28 , we know it's not a 28. It looks like a 15 or a 115, SoI called , he watched the bobbin turn, his reply was " it goes back and forth" = model 15.. I gave him to run down on teh machine, how to repair his belt and where to buy a new one in town so on.

Gave him my offer and why. He said he'd call me back , if it didn't sell, after this coming week. For me , it's a 200 mile round trip, new belt, gas.. I buy real leather belts, hose go for $12. even at my offer total cost will be over $100 without buying my hamburger. I really don't need or want another singer..

and then,, in eugene there is a singer treadle listed at $65 a tad bit rougher

http://eugene.craigslist.org/art/3953166370.html $75

http://eugene.craigslist.org/art/3954650744.html $65

I have the same machine as the $75 one and the other, The model 15 ( 75 $ ) is my all time favorite, it's a hands free machine, meaning I never need to flip the wheel to start it going .. had it have been a 115 ,, I would be on my way back home with the machine and a hamburger

both these machines are worth every penny of what there asking. I see buyers paying 75 for just a puzzle box

I think $75 is a steal but not if you are think you are too far away to go get it. I drove about 100 mi. round trip to get my Singer treadle 27 Sphinx which cost me $100 plus gas for my son's truck and lunch for my brother and his wife who went with me as I was going to a place where I didn't know anyone...

Definitely the $75 one. Those six drawer cabinets are fantastic, and the decals are, as someone else said, in better shape.
