Tension dial
Well, I have tried all day to upload a picture of my 500A But no luck...I was sent a replacement dial ( so excited)...but it's not like mine...My dial has a white dial. The web says to push it in at 0, but I have tried to push it in, but can't....Does any one know how to remove the dial ? I see screws holding it to the machine, but scared to remove, I think I am over my head with this, but so far I've had no one who thinks it's a tension problem.....what should I do????

You might (if you haven't already) want to look at the info on uploading photos here: http://www.quiltingboard.com/qb-help-center-f27/
Voice of experience (about to post my sad tale) - don't unscrew before you're sure what you're doing! The tension has a spring, so the last time I took one apart, I put a small plastic bag around it while I unfastened it, so I could catch anything that went flying!
