Thank you everyone! I've been home for close to two weeks now. Things are going great. I had an appointment with my surgeon last week and he's really happy with how things look. I go back next Monday when he'll most likely pull my stitches. I'm still amazed and thankful things are going as well as they are.
I'm also amazed and thankful for the generosity and support of all the members here.
Thank you!

I'm glad to hear everything is progressing so well for you, Rodney. I hope you continue to have an uneventful healing! The quilt the men made for you was fantastic, and the scarf and washcloth were just stunning! I hope knowing so many people care about you will speed your recovery along.

Hi Rodney from a late comer on this site--I have been away from my computer and haven't been keeping up with the news from everyone--think "houseboat at the lake" and Mother's Day celebration with all my kids and most of the grandkids--just enough to keep me from sitting down for my daily forum catch-up.
I am so glad to hear that you are home and doing well. Your quilts are beautiful, and I know the hospital folks did have a fit over your quilt while you were there--people love handmade quilts, no matter where they are.
