Thoughts on a Singer 404

My friend just found a model 404 singer at a thrift shop for $6.99. As far as we can tell it just needs a new tire on the bobbin winder, a needle and bobbin.
Which bobbin style does it use?

I don't understand why those aren't a WHOLE lot more popular. Great machine and light weight, too.

Looks to be in super clean condition too. And had intact attachment box in case. Carry case needs minor cosmetic repair to reattach edging. Interesting label attached to machine indicating that it had been repossessed!
