Default Another vintage machine

I picked this one up today but my camera has gone on a road trip. Its a Kenmore model 50 158.504 and in fantastic condition. It was made in Japan sometime in the 50's I think. Can anyone tell me more about this machine other than its a nice shade of light metallic lavender. One great thing about this machine is that it takes the same connector as the Godzilla finish one without the screws. Now I can use the same control pedal on both machines if I need to.

Is there a manual for this machine? other than the ones I have to buy? It seems to be a really nice machine and is very quiet, makes a very nice stitch. The only thing I've had to do is loosen the bobbin tension and give it a bit of oil. The underside rods and stuff look to be made mostly of brass.

Yes Ma'am it did come off and is the normal color under whatever the brassy substance is. Whatever it is, there's a lot of it.

Kinda what I figured. Why would they use brass there?

OK so its time to break out the oil and the toothbrush and get most of it off. Is not real thick so that's a good thing. All things considered its a pretty clean machine.
