I can remember when I used to darn socks for my family (to save money). However, unless you did a really smooth darn you would probably end up with blisters from rubbing against the darn. This was before the "throw away" years descended upon us.

my grandson who is one year old and learning to talk heard his daddy say a bad word. When he gets mad he says da, da, da, da... like he means it... we think he isn't meaning his daddy.... That is only one of about 4 words he says.
