Treadle at my mom's house!

On Thursday I am heading over to my mom's house to look at the treadle machine that belonged to her mom and sisters when they were little girls. I had totally forgotten she had it so I am excited to take a look at it. She said I can have it, so I am going to fix "her" up and find a special spot in my sewing room for her.

I know the cabinet will need to be finished, I hope the machine is ok!

I'll post some photos so all you experts can help me fix and take care of her.

Omg............. good for you girl....... dont forget to write a note to put in the drawer for when you pass it on to the next kin...

how wonderful a treasure that will be. wish I had my Mom's treadle machine, just because it was hers. I learned to sew on it also.

I love the idea of a note in the drawer.... wish someone had done that for my grandmother's machine.

Will be watching for pictures of her, How wonderful. I have my grandmothers 201 and wish I had the other grandmothers treadle, it was at my Aunts and am not sure what happened to it when she passed.
