Default Vigetti 139

This is the machine I got for $12.50, SN#KZM 730641. Its made in Japan so I think its a clone of something. The machine is now mostly freed up but won't make a full revolution of the handwheel. Any ideas so I can find a manual?

It looks to me like it's made by the same company as my Underwood and someone else's Ambassador. That star on the bed and in the middle of that knob, and the crown above the name are the same. I'd say just keep cleaning deep, keep flushing the crap out and oiling it.
This machine was probably badged under several different names so you might have to look for a manual by picture instead of by name.

I finally got it freed up, the stitch length knob was gummy. Its a Japanese machine and has JA3 under the bed so I'll keep looking for something that looks like it.

Made by Koyo. It has many of the same markings as my Alden Model SUZ-2

Thanks Joe maybe now I'll remember that. But I doubt it.

I knew I've seen that 8 sided star before. The big chrome knobs are familiar too.

Very similar to my Good Housekeeper:

I don't have the manual, sorry. Should be easy to find, though.

That looks exactly like mine with the exception of the color.

Dumb question alert here, but why do they have 2 spool pins when they don't take double needles?
And speaking of spool pins, I have one that flip downward instead of up, how do I get it turned right? It was right when I got the machine but somehow its not now.

If it's a zig zag machine with a wide slot bobbin case it should be able to take a double needle. Another reason is so you can wind a bobbin while sewing at the same time.

Its got a narrow slot. My other one which is about as generic a machine as you can get has a wide/long slot but I don't see how a double needle could work. This other machine also has a 3 position needle locator.
