Question Vintage Children's Singer's or just small?

Does anyone know anything about these two cute little machines? It seems like they are asking alot though, but I could be wrong. Experts? http://juneau.craigslist.org/atq/3497875759.html

Looks like a Singer 20-a small chain-stitch machine that was sort of an entry level for young sewers. Based on that price I would go right over to Juneau and invest on liquor futures-I bet someone's consuming quite a lot of it there.

Yes, too much $$ for those. They are very nice but I've seen them on eBay way cheaper.

Yes, it's a toy sewing machine. Singer used to give one to children when their mother bought a new sewing machine. You can get them for less than $100 on ebay all the time. I have two of them. I paid around $50 for each.

$400!! Thisbelong in the "What are they smoking" thread.

I have a hand crank singer 20 like that but I paid 30 dollars 4 in far better condition.

I also have the rare electric version that I paid only 50 dollars for.

I had one of these that was my mother's. It was tan, still in the box, in perfect condition. I haven't seen it in several years, though and I am fairly certain it was in with stuff that was stolen from me when I was moving and my next door neighbors pillaged my house as soon as I left with a load of stuff one day. They took my entire disney collection, too...I had personal christmas cards from Walt Disney and two very rare limited Disney prints. All gone. I knew it was them because I saw alot of my stuff on their back porch. When I called the police they wouldn't do anything because I didn't "see" them do it, and they claimed their kids "found all of it" and brought it home. I was so glad to move out of that neighborhood.

Hey Steve,.. what does that one look like? I saw a singer "toy" or child's sewing machine that looked like a Rocketeer at one of the antique shops. I didn't look much closer though after I saw the price.
