Oh, and over-inflated eBay prices don't constitute any sort of appraisal, especially when it isn't even a comparable machine.
Well it -was- a closet appraisal...
I see he wants more money for his, probably because a 66 is bigger than a 128?

Lol.

I guess the fact that he got lucky and managed to get a hold of the only Singer 66 made in 1916 makes it worth $900 more than the hundreds of thousands of other machines made every other year.

He wants more than the one in the "appraisal" because his is in a cabinet. It's as if he went to ebay, sorted by "highest price", picked the first machine on the list and declared that his machine is worth the asking price of the ebay machine, plus the value of the cabinet. If he noticed it was a different model he probably doesn't even care. They're all the same to him.

He looked up the date but seems to have ignored the column indicating that 50,000 were allocated that day. I kinda actually feel sorry for the guy -- he can't get one thing right.

Did you notice down at the bottom they had a "free CLOSET" appraisal....something the vice squad might need to look into.

Too heavy for them to lift? Lazy? Didn't know how to get it up? Didn't know it would be much easier to sew with it up?
