ANTIQUE 1864 SINGER SEWING MACHINE - $1500 (NICHOLASVILLE)

ANTIQUE 1864 SINGER SEWING MACHINE
IN EXCELLENT SHAPE FOR ITS AGE. ONLY PROBLEM IS ITS MISSING ONE DRAWER HANDLE
HAS NOT BEEN TESTED TO MAKE SURE IT STILL WORKS

I hate it when they only post the picture of the back of the sewing machine or cover the feed dog area with a scrap of cloth. Or, post fuzzy pics, or post dark almost impossible to see what it is pics.

Nope. I was just able to make out part of the serial number, D10883xx. That places the date of the sewing machine in 1908 and it would be a 27-4. And electrified??? I would deduct $1475 from that one.

i was thinking the same thing...i have yet to see any machines surviving from 1864 in any useable condition today. I can dream though.

I have noticed that the prices for treadles are going way up. I would love to know if they are really selling them. Some are in such bad shape. I was lucky to get a nice treadle in good shape for 90.00 and even that was high. But soon after I bought it the prices have been going up. How many are really being sold.
