What I don't understand is...Do they really think their stuff is worth that much or are they just trying to scam people into believing that a tin of attachments or an invisible machine is worth that much? Are there people out there that will pay that much?

That might work!
We had a car for sale and we just wanted to get rid of it, so we listed it at a very good price. We didn't get any bites, so I listed it for a few thousand more and sold it the next day for more than we bought it for!

This is the same sewing machine I learned to sew on! I was on a mission about 6 months ago, trying to find one. I found one in the exact same table as this one for $4 at Goodwill! Cost me $49.99 to get it serviced and doesn't have a manual or feet. So, for a $53.99 investment, I guess I am sitting on a gold mine, huh???

"It's black and gold, comes with the ORIGINAL CASE!!!"

This is only nearly every old machine made by Singer, ever. (I said 'nearly'!)

Been watching this, no top. Don't think I would pay that much for something that isn't all there, although it does have the spool holders, which mine didn't have when I purchased it. But sure didn't pay anywhere near that amount for it. Looks to be original for what all is there except can't see under the machine to see what kind of supports that machine is sitting on. Machine does not go with it.

Nicfe but out of my price range - doubt I will ever have one unless DH hits the lottery.

"Antique Sewing Machine-- Singer treadle model from 1920's. Treadle works. With minor repairs it should all work. Beautiful antique display or side table for home, store or restaurant. This type in this condition sells in antique stores for $5-700. We must lighten up for move East, so $250. (In photo, sewing machine looks small because wardrobe is huge - 4' x 2'.) Antique wardrobe and wooden truck with brass handles in 2nd photo also for sale at $250 and $110.
"
What the? I can tell more about the cat than the machine. Good looking cat though...
Love the second pic of the machine too.

$5-700 dollars for a model 15 in a relatively plain cabinet? I'm sitting on a gold mine!
