Default recognize this 'gem'? $180!!

My local cl had an ad for an old machine for $75. Sent me this picture, and said, oops - I have two machines for sale. It was the mother's, who lived to eighty. It is OLD and terribly valuable!! It works, but that's all they know!!

I can't tell anything . . . Suggestions?

It is a Japanese 15 clone. Here is something for you to read:

I sell them for about $50
Looks like Grandma smoked - use it as a bargaining chip.

Wow. That whole article is just wrong.

I can't help but be reminded of the "everything on the internet is true" commercial where the "French model" blind date strolls up and says "bon jour"

All the info must be true - after all, it's on the internet.

they could have at least dusted it off but they must have thought the cobwebs added some value.

Thanks Miriam. I thought that it was, but I am a 'newbie'! I emailed her (?) and said that it was priced as an antique, and it didn't have that value. I said that twenty to thirty was reasonable, and fifty might be high. If the price changed, to feel free to let me know! Boy, did that make her mad!! Like since her Mom was eighty, the machine was old-OLD! She called me crazy, and told me to have 'bless day'. I replied that it was very Christian of her to insult me. And to do her own research, and then decide who was crazy. haven't heard back. ;0)

I like that thing too!! I am just taken by the green and blue clones! The machines that were on cl last time -- I did not get them. They never answered my emails. =//.
