Organ and Schmetz make needles that size - shop a bargain - send a link out if you find a deal.
I will send a link if I find a good one and I think she has a 319(K or W) now that I think about it as she's had it retimed once and it is out of time again. Bummer.

Many people have tried to retime these machines to take a 15X1 instead of the required 206X13 needle which is shorter. If you use a 15X1 it will damage the bobbin case. Make sure you look at the bobbin case for any needle damage. You can replace the case but not cheap

Glenn; thanks for that information. She's not selling it anytime soon and wants a bundle to boot cuz it was expensive when it was purchased.

Those Singer 306, 206 and 319 can be put on a treadle - they will not hand crank. Bobbin cases are available through Sew-classic.

Will Trade for a KitchenAid Mixer.

http://detroit.craigslist.org/mcb/hsh/3728305933.html

1906 Singer Sewing Machine W/ Cabinet
Good Condition
Looking to trade for a KitchenAid Stand Mixer. It need not be new, just working and have the 3 most common attachments. (Whisk, Flat Beater, & Dough hook.)
