It's almost worth setting up an appointment to have them show me how it works....

(no, i never got a reply back from the previous genius)
*Face Palm*

I never get replies either. Apparently the drug haze take a lot of time to wear off.

"This vintage piece is in perfect condition....a beautiful example of true Retro Design. Everything tucks away and is hidden with precision craftsmanship. The chair and the sewing machine itself are completed hidden inside the unit. The top opens up and expands for plenty of sewing room. The sewing machine is in working order and sews perfectly. THIS IS A MUST SEE item to be sure!

36x19x30 side panels on top open up to 60" for sewing surface.

Cash and Carry Only Please"

Quote from the ad - I added bold type
I'm thinking the machine hidden... I wonder if you have to pay to look?

I hate it when people butcher up sewing machines. They take a machine that at least would be useful for parts but probably works fine. Around here I see these awful things where they take the bed off the machine and stick wheels on them to look like tractors. Butchering up the cabinets is just as bad there are always orphaned machines that are in search of cabinets or need cabinets replaced. They need those!

Miriam, that does look like a nice machine in there that "Pops-Up".

Ok, I have to share one here from Chicagoland, or in this case, Fantasyland! This "Very good condition for it's age" machine looks like it was dragged behind the truck that also ran it over. " And they say in the ad, "I have researched this kind of machine...they are actually going for well over $200" ... Where?
Enjoy.
