I have to blame Charlee- she somehow gave me the bug through cyberspace lol
Be careful about hanging around this shop. There seems to be something in the water.

You mean the pin on top right? Yes, you can replace it for a minimun cost. Mine came without it too.

I look forward every day to stopping in here for a cup of coffe and all your friendly faces! I hope to have a vintage machine to post soon. Found out there is one in my daughters rental house storage room and they have promised to get it out for me. I'm trying not to bug them too much.LOL. This is a wonderful place to be!!

I was looking through the Atlanta CL and noticed there are a lot more older machines for sale now a days. Guess people are realizing the desire for them. However, some are still priced a bit high. Here is one...
http://atlanta.craigslist.org/nat/atq/1942350740.html
maybe that is a fair price, but not something I would pay!!!

Been playing w/my treadle some and it just does not seem to like polyester thread!!! Guess I just have to make sure I always have 100% cotton on hand. Of course, it could be something else that is causing the skipped stitches but it seems to happen only when I have to poly thread on it.

Any suggestions as to what else could be causing the skipped stitches? I will post a pic later, camera is not home right now.
