I don't know. It is in working condition according to the seller. Maybe it got overlooked somehow. I made the winning bid last nite at about 10 pm and it just closed about 1.5 hours ago.

Edit: Just looked at it again. Comes with accessories but can't remmber if it said anything about the manual. Case is in good condition but not pristine. Who knows?? Maybe this was meant to be mine.

Trish, I don't have one like that with the pin. What machine gets that? I have the standard motors.
You should ask Billy, I bet he has one or Miz Johnny.

Do I need a new one? See photos
Thanks Jane
Eeks! You better talk to Billy about this one! Not a pretty picture. Seems you are missing something.

They work on a singer 99 or bel air that is a clone to the 99.

That is why I don't know this motor. I don't have a 99. It almost reminds me of little toy motors. Thanks!

The HC gets attached to the part under the wheel on the side where the empty screw hole is in your picture. If you google hand cranks for Singer 15s you will find some photos of how it all goes together. But I'm sure Billy can help you too.

Your machine decals are the RAF. What year is your 15-88?

The singer site dates it to 1938. Thanks for looking at my photos, you've been a great help, and I'm so happy to be part of this thread, as everyone has been so friendly and willing to share their knowledge! Now I've got to get to cleaning this machine!

I just posted this in the Main forum, not sure how to get it over to the virtual Vintage machines.... it's under "singer 301 question".... text below:

Billy, I need your help sir... or anyone elses, please.

What machine is this... and which version? I think it's a 301-b, right, but with the short flip up piece. aka, it's not a 'chopper' lol. But it looks like the motor is inside the machine itself...

What is this sucker worth? Will this one FMQ, drop dogs and sew great? Pictures, hopefully attached...

Is it worth $150 or what?
