Snake bite?? Care to elaborate?? Hope your feeling better and soon!!

I was taking the items out of the attic of my daughters house that was flooded from the Mississippi River and a copperhead bit me in the face right below my eye. We had to bulldoze her house down from the damage but ours fared pretty well except for the storms we had leading up to the massive flooding.

Billy
Geeze Billy, you have been through a lot with just the storms, but a copperhead bite? How bad did it get and how are you now? A copperhead bite sounds deadly to me! We have rattlesnakes here, but a copperhead sounds worse somehow!

Jenny at http://shop.sew-classic.com/Singer-3...-Parts_c37.htm has the bobbin cases and other 301 parts. She has been good to deal with.

Ok I got the Two Spools sewing perfectly, but I still need some advise on that second spool casing. I got it in correctly with the little push in thingy, but I had to use a screw driver to hold the pop in, in. How do you get it loaded correctly?

Nancy, I just saw one exactly like this in an antique mall here. They wanted $110 for it. Missing cord, bobbin carrier, bobbins, foot pedal. In a bentwood case. It was in nice shape, but I found something else there I wanted more.....a Featherweight!!! And I put it on Layaway!! I really hadn't planned on buying one, but she was whispering to me as I walked around the place. I couldn't leave her there!! So, in about 30 days she'll be mine!

Also that place had 3 treadles...one was a White, one was a 66 red eye, and I didn't open up the 3rd one, but the front of the cabinet looked like a White that I had seen before.

Well they are very poisonous and after it bit me I went and got my 12ga and ran a box of shells through it taking out several of them. It was a baby that bit me (which is worse) but I was able to take its remains to the hospital with me for the anti venom. I was very lucky and since the house was being bulldozed down It didnt matter that it had a butt load of holes blown in it. So I am on antibiotics and I can not get hot nor can I get out in the sun.

Billy, we are very glad you made out ok with that snake bite. Wow. Y'all have had pretty rough situations with weather, your family and snakes. Stay safe. Maybe more sewing or somethin'! :D
