I took mine apart and put it back following the information at TFSR. They have lots of pictures if you are more visual for working with 15s and 66/99s. Definitely a big help when I had to put all those little pieces back together!

There is a new TV show starting tonight called "My Collection Obsession" . It is on TLC channel at 10:00pm eastern time. It will be interesting to see what types of things that people collect. I saw a preview and one guy collects vacuum cleaners :-D .

I was thinking I found that link here originally. I just found it so helpful with seeing how all the parts work together, I have to recommend it when I can! I don't think of myself as very mechanical, but if the information is detailed enough and has enough pictures, I can tackle it.

Thanks!! I did a spa treatment on her EARLY this morning before it gets to 106 later on. I knew she would clean quickly, but goodness what a lot of gunk came out of the hidden places. Someone so nicely put straight pins down in the arm end. I found them when I took off the face plate. After I cleaned up the oiling places, I found a couple more pins wedged in one of the oiling holes. Really, people what are you thinking??? Or was it unwatched kids??
She will have to air out for a day before I start putting her back together again.

Just called on the craigslist.org/atq/2556466737.html in RI. the featherweight machine. She doesn't know if it works, no cover, and has the light "bandaided" on the machine. The foot pedal and cord are with it. I offered her $35 and she refused it. Did I do O.K.? It is a 50-mile drive for us so I figuered I would subtract gas money. She says she has had quite a few calls but no-one has showed up. What do you think? Should I wait a few days and see if she is willing to dicker?

Would depend on how much you want the machine. I can't get the URL to pull up. If you want to stay firm with the $35, send her a message that if she changes her mind to please get in touch with you.
