DH said I could load the back of a truck with what I carry in my purse.

Some purses make pretty good tool boxes...

If the opposite is true - don't you just love how a sewing machine runs... I tried to post an ad tongue in cheek for a sewing machine and CL flagged me. I suppose I have had machines sounded about what this one must sound like though.

That is one gorgeous machine! The decals (and everything else) are in great shape. I can just imagine it clicking along, hardly making a sound. If someone here gets the machine I hope we get a full report!

Ok, I've put it on my watch list and will check the price in the AM. DH is always wanting to know what to get me for Christmas...Santa may come early to my house.

Billy; Off topic of course but love your new avatar. That is a precious picture. Quilt looks lovely, too. ~ Chris
Thank you, I made that quilt for my little Lola. She was diagnosed with congestive heart failure and I made her a quilt just for her to snuggle in. When it came time to put her to sleep made sure I buried her in it so she would always have me hugging her and would not feel alone. But she really loved it and I would take it to our bedroom and she would lay on it all snuggled up with just her little head poked out.

That one is a really hard screw to find! Singer threads were proprietary and there is not another screw out there that will fit it but that one screw. I do not remember where I found the few I have but they are worth their weight in gold!

It would be nice to see someone get it. I checked the exchange rate - the postage is the killer! I do love it - it's my very favorite design of all - love the turquoise!

There is an auction coming up here on Saturday, and the preview pics show a Singer bentwood case, but they didn't open it. Grrr! I can't get to the preview, so I'm going to tell my mother to take a small flat screwdriver with her. :)
AH I am not the only woman running around with a couple screwdrivers!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd have a whole toolbox in my purse...which is why I carry a tiny purse. :)
