Oh, I would LOVE to have that cabinet for sure. I'm coming to the TOGA, but I'm sure it'll be gone by then.

And if this were really true that I were extremely wealthy...first stop would be dropping off a National Two Spools and a Davis NVF to Sharon, Purplefiend. Then afterwards would be the rest of the gang here. It would be Christmas in September...I love to shop for others!

Monica,
OOH!!! A Two Spool and a Davis NVF for me?? Hurry up and win the lottery already.
Hugs,
Sharon

I love that you make all those scrappy quilts for donations!!

I picture many children wrapped around your work of love, a scrappy quilt, with a smile on their face.

<<<Hugs back>>>

Okay all just wanted to report back that it is all operator learning on my treadle. After a week of sewing a little every day I am doing much better. I think it was all a bit of foot placement on the pedal and the stiff new belt that was slipping.

I don't break the thread that much anymore but it is usually when I am slowing down and then start up again. I hope to post some pictures tonight but have a virus again on my computer I think.

Thanks for the sweets.

Do you think we will have room in the car? Silly me - I'm having 2nd thoughts and am thinking of finding a cabinet for the machine from yours.

Can anyone tell me if there is a TOGA in my area? I am pretty much in the center of Missouri.

Well, I went and did it!!! Bought a Singer machine from and old feller--it was his wife's and before that his mother-in-law's. It is nice condition and came with a buttonholer, and boxes of stuff. But I didn't see a manual. It runs great and seems clean.
The Model is a 348, No. 81583-900 and made in Great Britean, AIN. Where can I find a manual for it? I did a search on this sight for info, but couldn't see anything about manuals. Will put up pictures when We have settled it in a spot. Came with at least 4 or 5 prs. of scissors, and two boxes of notions that I have not had a chance to look through! It's aqua and doesn't seem to have much wear.
