Well, I just got in the door. When I got there we went and got something for Joy to eat. About the time we picked up the food she got the call that said to go to recovery. So we went in - he was already eating a popcycle. After a fashion we got up to his room and got him settled, ate and then kept feeding Wilbur. The kid was STARVED. This is the first he's eaten all week without throwing up or just refusing to eat. He played with a couple frogs they gave him - he figured out if he threw it against the bed it would bounce kind of cool. Of course I held Walter quite a bit. When I left Wilbur was eating more supper. I hope she manages ok over night. I'll get up and go back in the morning to take them home. He knows he feels some what better but he sure hates the IV and the medication.

Praise God!!!! This is terrific news about Wilbur. He sounds like a fighter. Praying for his speedy recovery.

That is a gorgeous machine. Have you figured out what she is yet? I've not seen such work wrapped around the machine before. Are those the hand painted flowers you were talking about? You sure have a great find on your hands with all the goodies that came with it!

Her thimbles, screwdrivers and a wooden case of needles were in the drawers, plus a bunch of antique buttons (and various junk that we all acummulate around our machines). That was Merry Christmas to me !!

Good news, Happy to hear the litlle man has rebounded. When my girl had ear tubes put in at that age, after 16 months of no sleep for me and a lot of pain for her the change was unbelieveable! DD started sleeping a solid 8 to 10 a night...and I got up every hour to check to see if she was breathing! LOL Good luck to Wilber, God bless all, and Merry Christmas.

To you all who had your tonsils out as adults - I feel for you. My DH had his tonsils out when he was in his 20's and it was horrible! The exact opposite of what my kids went through when they were really really little!
