lets see what size this one turns out to be
it is a Vindex Special minus a stitch length regulator
she has not had any cleaning - kind of yuck right now.

The cabinet looks ok from the outside but there is considerable damage from where the chain tore up the wood when it jumped the pully or was forced. The iron moves well.

Your Vindex looks like a National to me. the cabinet is the same also. Brunswick is a badged National. If you are lucky the stitch regulator is there and your only missing the screw and the pointer that is used to adjust the stitch length. I hope this is the case. You tension control is a little diff or it is on wrong. My tension has two plates instead of one.

Glenn, thank hoy for giving us the instructions for the crocheted spool holder. I have made several and have given them all away. Everybody thinks they are adorable. They are so easy to make. Kathie

My Leader (National badged) has two tension bars and I see two on Miriam's Vindex. One is turned so it's facing the camera.

I need a good pic of the tension or see a tension like this. I have no idea how it should go.
When my vacation is over, I'll check the stitch length some more - it would be fun to see how it sews.
