I use those under the quilting table. Got a set of 4 and 6 inch rizers. Had not thought of taking them to school to do a pin job. DUH!! LOL Will find the 6inch ones for the next time I need to do a pinning. Thanks Cindy Lou Who!

Have you tried using the bed risers under the table legs? They raise the table up enough so you don't end up killing your back and are usually pretty inexpensive and easily found. I take mine any time I go to a class or retreat where I'd be doing a lot of bending over tables otherwise. They help!

Great a little wd40 and a couple of taps between those two wheels and got it released! Yay! Back in business, I sure will post the quilt I'm almost finished the top. Thanks again..

Nancy the whole blocks are 5.5" finished, so you just add blocks till you have what you need. We make different sized quilts for the different ages. If we can get info that someone loves Barbie, we do our best to find Barbie material. These kids have had so little, that one wish in a lifetime (they don't know they are getting a quilt) is not a really big thing. I get back more than I give. We sometimes get pictures of the kids with their quilts or hear that they take them everywhere. That's better than a Blue Ribbin to me any day !!!

This is so wonderful! I did not know you sometimes know what the child you are making a quilt for likes! That makes it even more special! I am not part of a quild, but maybe I will look into joining one! What a wonderful way to 'pay it forward!'

I'm back - I finally caught up on reading - so much to do too - sorry to hear about deaths - ouch.
While we were on vacation someone decided to see if they could find anything they need more than we do from our house. They broke out a door window and reached in and unlocked the door knob. DH put in a double dead bolt so they gave up. We have to repair the door but nothing was missing. I feel like hanging the broken door from the dead tree in the front yard and painting a sign on the door - 'what part of thou shalt not don't you get???' but I doubt if they know how to read anyway much less care about 'thou shalt not' I should buy stock in a door company - we've had this happen multiple times since we have been living here. It is time to move. The house to move to is sssooo not ready - maybe we can camp in the garage, sleep in the truck or the yard or something. I'm also tired of getting mooned every day...

Oh, and I am honored to be Chair of this show....quite a humbling experience, I assure you!!! :-)
