One of you California girls needs to get this cutie.
I'm thinking about that darling machine. Pink and Gray!!! What's not to love??? It's about 3 hours from me, and I need to go down to that area later in March to get another machine. Maybe. I'll have to think about it.

Beautiful to see a machine that looked so sorry come to life again like that!

Wow!!! Hollyann, Nancy really said it all! That machine is just GORGEOUS! Wonderful work. You are indeed a talented artist. Thanks for sharing your little jewel of a machine.

I saw that one, but the black motor and pedal turns me off. It was probably replaced and sticks out like a sore thumb:<

The slide photos of the quilt show on your blog showing all those gorgeous quilts from very talented folks in central CA entertained me this morning as I ate my breakfast. Looks like you had a wonderful time at that show too. You did an excellent job with the quilt show!
Wow!! Thanks, Monica! Yes, we had a great time doing the show. We are planning on expanding the antique & vintage sewing machines exhibit next year, maybe putting some around in other areas of the hall with little vignettes set up...antique quilts under the needles, that kind of thing. The quilts were just grand this year! Such talented ladies. One of our members won Best of Show at Road to California this year...she and a friend of hers made a quilt that is just out of this world. The other lady does the piecing and applique, and she does the quilting sitting down with her Bernina on a table. No long arm!! She has won Best of Show at other national shows for her quilting. She is just amazing!

Of course I don't mind. I belong to vintagekenmoresew-a yahoo group. The listing is in their files. Hope this helps.

I've been watching this machine { http://www.shopgoodwill.com/viewItem.asp?ItemID=9448604 } too
but their shipping prices are insane. I've bid on and won several machines in that weight class and they could ship it Fed-EX or UPS for around $30.

I really like and would have bid on it. Ah well.

I saw the pink and gray one, it was so cute! I like the child's crank from Singer. http://www.shopgoodwill.com/viewItem.asp?ItemID=9468208

Hi Patti,

I looked up your Kenmore and the listing I have dates it at 1968-69. By the way I have that very same cabinet, but different machine.

Pat

Thank you so much Pat. Where did you get the information? I looked everywhere I could think of.
Patti
