She's moved on - she has dairy goats - Nelly had 2 new kids yesterday - male and female. She lets the girls name the males some kind of food name... Then she is keeping the female for the dairy so she is choosing the name for her. Her goats are like big nosy dogs and you don't want to get between them and her - they are pretty protective. I haven't seen the new kids yet. There are 2 about a month or so old - cute - she may need to get a spinning wheel for one with quite a lot of cool hair. Her next door neighbor has goats and Daisy slipped out one night - surprise... so they just left her up there for awhile so that one went early. DD has been making good cheese. I hope you all keep DD in your prayers, she is having a lot of problems with pain since the last baby (November). Her midwife is suspecting some very serious problems.

I went into JoAnn's today to pick up some thread so I can finish sewing some flowers. Couldn't help but notice the Singer FW commemorative or what ever it is called. I thought it would be a small machine since it was supposed to be a FW.... That thing is HUGE and ugly - did I take it for a test drive? NAW.

Joe, have you used sewing machine oil. I gave the area I was working on a quick swip with Dawn dish detergent and quickly rinsed it off with a wet paper towel. That stuff is strong. Then I dried it and soaked area in SM oil. In 15 minutes, I started wiping it off. I found decals in areas I had no idea that the machine had them. Be careful with the detergent. I did silver one small area. My Redeye decals are not bright, but I felt it was time to stop. It took several days or weeks, but it looks far better than it did.

Cathy was over visiting tonight. She pulled out her collection of darning feet and darning springs.
