DD is not responding well to the antibiotics so she is wondering if it is something else wrong - I think she thinks it is something worse - you know how nuts you can go with that stuff - she has another 2 weeks before she goes back to the doctor. I'm sicking my sister on her - maybe she can get her to get back in there sooner. DD is just in way too much pain. I'm going to be cooking all day tomorrow. Stuff the girls can heat up. We did it last week - cooked all day on Saturday... DIL did some and so did my mom. Now we need to do that again. My youngest son is getting on his feet again after his wife left him - he's lost his wife, his new born baby, his dog, his truck got wrecked and lost his house and his job changed hours so he wasn't getting any sleep. So we've worried over him a bit too - kind of off the stress graph maybe?
Glenn, if you post a tutorial with a bunch of pictures on it's own on the vintage sewing machine section do it at 3am or some other odd time so you don't get a bunch of people posting comments while you are trying to do it - I had all kinds of trouble when I did the one on the FW clean up - the pictures went bonkers and I kept losing the thing while I was trying to post it - it sure messed up - it wasn't what I wanted when I got it done. Also some how it blipped out and I got a second one - don't ask how - I don't know........

Ok, I will put it here and then we can see what happens. This way you can ask questions as we go. I am getting all my thoughts together so it will make sense to you ladies and gents. Bare with me when I start I take a lot of this for granted and tell me to slow down if I need to. So to start this off I want you to clean the machine to get rid of the dirt and dust from the surface. Soap and water etc your favorite method. No gojo or goop. Then wipe down the whole with naptha this will remove any oil from the head. Of course you have done the cleaning to the mechanics of the machine before this step and the machine is working now. Now gather the materials. old white cotton T-shirts, hubby's tighty whities etc. denatured alcohol and linseed oil, shellac. All can be purchased al Lowes or Home Depot. Oh naptha is notlhing more than lighter fluid for a cig lighter. A small bottle will do you will not need much to wipe the head down. I will give you the next installment tomorrow in my evening post.

Joe, it's in post #32924, my page 3293 because I have 10 posts a page. This MW only followed me home yesterday. Today I asked my quilt store guy about it and, as usual, he tried to sell me a new machine. "One of my new machines will do as much as ten of your old ones." Yeah, break down. I know his do because I see the machines come in when I buy fabric. It doesn't bother him because the company replaces the parts. I told him the operative word in sewing machine is sew and I expect a machine to do just that. Then he tried to sell me a aqua Universal 15 clone. Pretty little machine, but it'd been in a bad basement and the mold smell of the case was terrible. Besides, I'm not in the market. If I machine follows me home, it didn't cost $75.
