Pat, I posted a heads up on that one about a month ago. I'm surprised it is still listed.
Also still listed is the Singer 224 with motor no treadle for $50 in Japantown SF. That has been listed for a couple of weeks.

The decals on that Davis look very nice, cabinet looks sad. I would ask lots less.

Oops, sorry, haven't been keeping up! The decals did seem nice on that one, and I think it's the VF model that takes normal needles (but am not completely sure, since both of mine are older Watertown Davises and this is a newer Dayton model). Wonder what's wrong with it? Too bad the pictures are so lousy.

It's like mine, Davis NVF; and yes, it does take the standard needles 15x1. Those Davis treadles are nice to treadle.
I already have two Davis NVF. If I didn't, I would see about it.

This one looks like a Wilcox and Gibbs, although, they say it is made by a Whayne company? With a little work, that would be a really cute little outfit!

Candace I just have to laugh. I have a sewing machine sort of like that... Different name but same paint job. My DGD was over and wanted to sew a pillow. I grabbed the one I had, we cleaned it up and wow that thing turns way to fast for her to keep up with. Good machine.
