Grayhare,
They just don't understand that we don't want plastic wonders, we want machines that will last for years.

I did receive a reply to a Singer 101 in a cabinet, the cabinet looks in pretty good shape, $25 The machine does not work. It is funny cause the seller asked me why do what this old machine you know you can get a new machine for about $50
The cabinet is a Singer 40a, I believe.
Should we give her the benefit of the doubt and say that she lost the information on removal of CL post or call her lazy. Yeah, it's no fun when they do things like that.

The Singer 101, Is that a potted motor machine? I know they have the smaller hand wheel.

Is the Singer 40 cabinet the Queen Anne cabinet? That cabinet for $25 is a steal if so.

Or is it the library table? Still nice but not as pretty as the Queen Anne.

Purplefiend, You're treadling a Pfaff, correct? How is that machine? The photo of that treadle looked very nice. - or I should say that the treadle looks like it would treadle smoothly.

I believe that it is the Queen Anne cabinet. I was interested in the cabinet, not the machine.
