According to tracking, my "Rodney" machine is suppose to come today! I can't wait to see it - and see DH's face when he sees it!

Nancy, Thank you for the nice compliment. I have to say that this machine was not on my list of "Must Haves" In fact, the wires were so bad that I didn't plug it in or check anything on it until I had about 30 or so hours in it cleaning, oiling and doing the rewiring. Kind of a leap of faith. I also didn't think it would sew very well when I was done with it either. Boy was I wrong about that. It surprised the heck out of me! It sews really, really well! Nice smooth running machine at all speeds. It can do really fine stitches too. I'm not a huge fan of Kenmore machines but I have to admit that I really do like this machine.

Got the tree and Santa collection out today...tomorrow evening, we're going to check out a machine that the kids want to get for me for Christmas... I'm not going to tell you what it is, but I've kept my eyes open for one since someone else here got one!! I'll post pics tomorrow evening if it comes home with us!!
Have been wondering about you so it was nice to see you on here. Stay dry over there, we are VERY wet here!

Ah Margie! We're supposed to get rain the next 10 days here! I fully intend to stay inside...with a few excursions!

Charlee good to hear from you, know you are busy with family and Christmas so get back on the board as soon as you can. Say hey to William.

Thanks Skip!! They went looking around today, so hopefully they'll have a nice apartment or house soon...I know that they'd like to get back to some semblance of "normal" too!
