Miriam, Where did you spy the two spools. I am looking for one that isn't too far way. I did find another old Davis yesterday and made an offer but haven't heard back yet. The cabinet was nice and it had the coffin top with Davis on it. The shuttle was there to. The machine is stuck but I know DH can get it unstuckkkkk.

Grant your two 28's in the photo shop with the LaVincendora decals are really purrrrrty! Actually, I will have to go back to the photo shop to see if they are 28's or 128's - I don't remember right now!

Steve, the posting for the WW 12 has been deleted so I couldn't see that machine.

Thank you. I don't think you would have said that when I bought them though. They were both, ... well, not perfect.

It is kind of funny how it worked out. One machine was in bad shape but had a good case. The other machine was in good shape but had a bad case. A few bits and pieces might change between them so one machine is good and one is not as good.
Steve, that looks like a pretty big project, but so far so good.
Nancy, they are both the 3/4 size machines in bentwood cases. 128's.

Generally it is true that "Most machines fit in most cases"

The "footprint" of a singer is usually either standard sized or 3/4 sized. the "standard sized" is what most machines use, most likely including your 15 clone.

Of the ones that are the same sized the biggest difference will be in the hinge style/shape. the distance between them is usually the same.

(NOTE: The complete and utter lack of words like "all")

Steve,

Want to bring the W&W 12 up on the 9th? I have a W&W 10. It would be cool to compare them.
