Hi, I'm totally new to this forum, but I was looking for some help on identifying an old sewing machine I purchased. I have a couple of photos, one closeup of the metal logo, and some other longer shots. I searched all the google images trying to find this logo, but was unsuccessful. If you have any info, it would be greatly appreciated. If not, that's ok, I had a great time looking at everyone's antique sewing machine

There were so many badged (branded) machines back then, hard to tell who the manufacturer might have been. It will be really pretty when cleaned up. Be sure you watch Muv's videos on cleaning them...some of the finishes on the real old machines are very fragile, and you can destroy the finish in a jiff is not careful. By the way, that bobbin winder looks really strange.

Janice is right, it could be a badged machine, but you need to take this conversation to the main Vintage Shop so we can discuss it there. This shop is for photos - I love your photos - an interesting machine! Please go to the Vintage Shop and post your photo and ask away! Hopefully, someone can help you - we can at least discuss the machine!

EtchaSketch, can we take this to the Vintage Sewing Machine shop? We aren't suppose to discuss machines here in the photo shop - but, I want to discuss your machine! According to ISMACS Singer didn't make a Model 15 until 1895! If your machine is in fact an 1885 machine - I want to talk about it!

Here is my 1947 FW. I purchased her about 2.5 years ago through a craigslist ad. The owner lived aboutg 2.5 hours from us. Named her Chula after my Grandma Chula. Chula means beautiful. She is sitting on my Grandma Chula's vintage sewing machine desk with a glass topped drawer on each side of the desk. I love piecing on her.
