Don't know how old the machine is, need a website to look up the serial number. Maybe robinA has an idea on the age of hers, which has a lot lower number.

i bought this sewing machine about 7 years ago off of ebay and went and picked it up near atl. i have never gave it a good cleaning since i bought it. other than the outside of the cabinet so it wont dry and become brittle. it may be just layers of dirt over the decals, or maybe they are just that faded. maybe its time i get to cleaning! it did come with a couple of attachements. i bought the key off of ebay so the drawers can lock. and a few bobbins came along with it to. i bought it from the original owners granddaughter. my husband tried it right after we bought it, and it does work. or did then.

Totosmom, yes I believe it is, as for the bobbin I'm really not sure. This is my first sewing machine, and I just found out it needs to be rewired, and right now I can't afford that. but it looks like a regular one I guess, lol I dunno!
But thank you, I love all the same.

I remember them measuring fabric on that kind of machine too!! You can tell I'm middle aged.
