Actually this project was because of the whole family pitching in to help every night this week.

so, to bring this back to sewing machines....

When you see "Industrial" in an ad for a sewing machine remember...THIS is real Singer Industrial. (241-12)

[Backstory - I busted my last original needle for my 29-4, I am not ready with the Politype patcher for a working project, and I NEEDED to finish stitching up some leather bits for the Gorget (neck armor, pronounced like "Gore-shay") because the customer was leaving in the morning for Spain to fight in it]

I asked Heather if she would rather hand stitch with the sinew or give the 241 a try. The leather involved is 8oz split cowhide, so it would mean hemming and attaching pieces, max 2 layers. She said, let's give the beast a try. (not her, the machine)

Yes, but delayed 1 year. Our Trip to Yosemite was so amazing Heather asked to put it off one year so we can make reservations (1 year advanced required) and have everything there. Being the good future husband, I said "yes dear"
