Default vintage sewing machine

vintage sewing machine need help identifying sewing machine on a gold plate has JIM3 on it and serial number is 09015502..any information would be appreciated...

My initial guess would be that it is a 15 clone. If it looks like the machine at http://www.auctionzip.com/auction-lo...arouselContent or http://www.ebay.com/itm/Antique-Hand.../262943146121? It sure looks like some early Singer 15s that had the round stitch length regulator. I don't think it actually is a Singer even though it looks a lot like one. To me, the letters look like they might be Russian.

Probably a good straight stitch machine.
