My husband let me get this from Craigs list for my birthday-which is not for another month. it has all the original parts and accessories, except for the oilcan and 4 bobbins which is fine with me. It was owned by the Mother and she used to make her daughter's dance costumes when she was little. i asked if she would write down her moms name and when/where it was purchased so i would have a record of it for history since i'm the second owner. it was made in 1947 or 1948. it's in great condition. i havent run it yet b/c i wanted to clean and oil it before i played with it.

What a thoughtful DH. Hmmm. Maybe he'll forget about this when your real birthday arrives and get you some other goodies to go with it. She's a looker.
