Harness maker or computer desk?

That's a cool machine. I really hope someone buys it to preserve it instead of making a desk out of it.

1. NOT a leather sewing machine.
2. It's a W&W #4 narrow lowbed in a base model table.
3. The price is about correct.

Doesn't seem like it would make a very good computer desk, but then I like a larger work area.

This looks just like the machine that Janet Leigh uses in the 1949 version of Little Women. Just saw the movie last night and I was fascinated with the machine head jumping up and down and she stitched on a dress for her sisters.
