    What do I have?

I have a Singer that was my grandmothers that she bought in 1905 I think. I found some numbers on the shuttle plate but don't know where to look for other information.

You can find the serial number (we should be able to tell you what it is from that, but we like seeing photos! ) on a brass plate in front of the pillar of the machine.
One day, you'll only be a memory for some people. Do your best to be a good one.

Are there letters in front of the serial number? You can go to singerco.com and look up the serial number to find out when and where it was made.
