What model Singer is this?
I saw this Singer on Shopgoodwill.com. I've seen them before, I think, but I'm not familiar with it:

Does it use cams? Kind of looks like there is a pivoting door right behind the Singer name.

corrected: Singer probably 200-something, made in Japan. I knew I has seen a pic recently. I thought that bobbin winder & balance wheel had a Japan / Brother / Atlas look to them. haha

Singer 224, there is a cam in there, and maybe this one is your zz hc candidate, too? Their blog doesn't say whether it's aluminum or iron.

I noticed in one of the thumbnail pics that there is a bobbin and a bobbin case in the bottom of the box. The info says there is no bobbin or bobbin case. Maybe this person doesn't know much about sewing machines.

That is the norm at GW. I have a MW 7 Jewel machine ( it is the one in my HC thread ) that was said to be parts only or repair because the motor ran at full speed, only shutting off when it was unplugged. It dawned on me the morons were plugging the machine's motor directly into the power outlet. For whatever reason the cord block and controller was gone. They didn't even know that. We were the only bidder on the machine and it's one of the best we have. It keeps you on your toes watching those folks at GW. Their stupidity can be extremely creative.
