Default What year is this Singer Hand Crank?

I just saw this Singer on an Estate sale listing in my area. Can someone give me some information on it? What year? Approximate value?
Thanks

that is a singer 28 "ottoman carnation' hand crank. value depends on location and all the variables. if you can get it for $100 that will be a good deal. year could be early 1900's. unless you can get the serial no. we can't tell the exact year. all i can say is, that's a nice machine.

x2 on Vmaniqui's post.... I know this pattern is VERY popular but I really dislike it... Makes me think of orange slices....

I'd be willing to pay about $250 to $300 for one like that. So if I got it any cheaper, my smile would be bigger!

Not that I'm in the market for one like that, but based on what I've experienced, that is what I'd be expecting.

Looks to be in good shape. If it speaks to your heart- go for it. I've never seen one "in the wild".

the reason i said $100 is because there's this local seller who's willing to sell his singer hand crank to me for $150. he had it listed for $275 but i bargained. it doesn't hurt to ask. worst thing that could happen is he will say 'no'.

I love it, the decals have a beautiful flair. The box looks like it's in great condition. Make an offer, see if you can negotiate but if you really love it, if you can afford it, if you have room for it, then make it yours. Tip: don't come here for advice on Not buying machines.
