I recently bought a beautiful 403 and I am really enjoying it but not been able to find the serial numbers onit. Any suggestions or thoughts would be helpful and welcome!

The newer ones have them stamped on the underside - faintly. Not sure about that particular model.

The 301 and the 404 each have them underneath the needlebar end of the machine - the 301 can be found without removing the bottom, but I had to remove the bottom cover to find the 404's.
