Angry white FW parts

I bought a Featherweight that is white. When it arrived the bobbin winder wheel was broken. Does anyone know where I might find a white bobbin winder assembly. The seller is less than co-operative and I am stuck. There was insurance on the machine thru UPS but of course I didn't get a receipt for that. If I could find a replacement it would save a lot of hassle. Thanks so much

Ginny vacationing in Tucson for the winter.

Honestly, I'd send it back. If you bought via paypal and ebay you're covered. Buy one that is shipped properly and you won't have to hunt down parts.

Ginny,

Welcome to the Quilting Board.

If you don't send it back, check with Steve at The Sewing Center here in Springfield, IL. His # is: 217-525-7744 .
At one time he had a white parts machine so he might have what you need.

Glenn Williams may be able to help as well. I just ordered a bunch of stuff off him and he's very knowledgeable and very helpful. As an added bonus, his prices were very reasonable.

Glenn's in Florida. I've heard it's best to call him and explain what you need. Because I'm in Canada without a long distance plan, I dealt via email which took a little longer than I would have liked, but everything was picture perfect once it arrived and he was very easy to deal with, he even had "Rare" parts for my 222 Featherweight.

Glenn Williams is great-would highly recommend him. I called him for a part for my white Featherweight machine. It was shipped and received very fast. He even spent time on the phone walking my husband through a few steps helping him replace my light fixture. Prices are excellent too!
