Why-O-why do I want the ones I can't get?

I like the parlor cabinets too. Very elegant designs on most of them and intended so the machinery wouldn't show. Console yourself with the fact that the veneer on the top is in really rough shape and needs either replaced or extensive repairs.

My current parlor cabinet had to have the bottom rebuilt due to water damage. Done. I'd post some pics, but I lost them in the last hard drive failure.
Remember the 9W-7 treadle cabinet .... { http://www.quiltingboard.com/vintage...n-t218398.html } I redid that one.
So, damaged veneer is a non issue to me. Yes, it's more work, but nothing I can't handle.
So ... I'll just keep wanting and some day I'll either get over it .... NOT .... or get me another one.

My sympathies. I know your pain when I see the words "local pickup only" or when the cost is astronomical. I am working hard on focusing on only a couple more machines to get & use, only greyhounds. BUT I can ease my machine lust by sharing pics of interesting machines with this board. It helps to share the eye candy.
