Colleen, glad to hear that. I just LOVE mine!! And I've never heard anyone who didn't love theirs too :)
Check flea markets, rummage and garage sales, places like that oh and thrift shops. I've heard people get better bargains than what I paid but it was totally worth it for me. They last forever and the parts for them are still made.

I also think that because they are made completely of metal...they just last longer. Even the bobbins are substantial and metal. I love how it looks, it doesn't intimidate my grandchildren and it definitely does hum!
