Colleen, glad to hear that. I just LOVE mine!! And I've never heard anyone who didn't love theirs too :)
Check flea markets, rummage and garage sales, places like that oh and thrift shops. I've heard people get better bargains than what I paid but it was totally worth it for me. They last forever and the parts for them are still made.

Can you believe people get rid of them at yard sales??? They must not realize what a little treasure they have....which is a good thing for us :) I'll keep my eyes open and maybe I'll get lucky.

I also think that because they are made completely of metal...they just last longer. Even the bobbins are substantial and metal. I love how it looks, it doesn't intimidate my grandchildren and it definitely does hum!
