Default Wow quilts stretched Singer, Help

Today I came across a Wowquilt stretched Singer machine. I knew what it was right away and the owner was basically giving it away because he couldn't figure out how to stop it from skipping stitches. I bought "Rose" for $40 bucks! I have a periwinkle frame already, so I didn't need that part of the set up. My question is, I have no clue how to tread her. I have called Singer, and they said she was a 1906 Model 28...or at least the back of her is. The front is something different because there is defiantly not a vibrating shuttle in there. Looking for any advice on how to thread her and maybe figuring out why she is skipping stitches.

Why don't you contact the person/company who stretched the machine? They'd be the ones who'd know best how to deal with the skipping stitches on a machine they built.

Since the face plate is from a Model 15, I'd start by threading it like a model 15.

Find out or figure out what needle it uses and make sure the correct one is in it.
Same for the bobbin.

Then go from there.

Well....... I'd buy her from you with a profit for you and figure it out.

Could be something as simple as wrong needle, needle inserted incorrectly, etc.

Seriously, contact the WOW builders if you can't figure it out.

Let's see the stitch regulator and the bobbin case-some of the 15 class thread "backwards."

Thank you everyone,
I have contacted the builder. I knew she was a Model 28 on the back, just couldn't figure out what she was on the front. I have restored Antique White machines. The only other Singer I have is a '48 industrial 241-11 that I use as a mid arm. So I don't know much about Singers, yet. I only have one other picture of Rose so far. I will upload more once she is all cleaned up and put on the quilting frame =)

Its a Singer 15, takes class 15 bobbins. Here's a picture of my Singer 15-90.
