Stylist 457 still stiff

Fighting a stiff singer stylist 457. It's in the top horizontal shaft. Anyone have operators and or service manual. I am truly stumped. Or advice. Any will be warmly received.

Triflow and make sure there are no cracked gears.

I am purchasing a machine like this and I wanted a manual. If you google "Singer Stylist 457", you will see the free download for the manual. Good luck. Sorry I just saw this today. I hope you have been able to solve your problem. The one Im getting looks to be in good shape but I'll try it out tomorrow and see.
